Happy Holidays from Beckmann Collaborative

Whether you celebrate the holidays or not, it's hard to deny the magic that is in the air this time of year. There seems to be more hope, joy, and gratitude than usual. It's an ideal time to reflect on the year coming to a close and recognize those who have supported you in one way or another.

Thank you to our growing community of clients and partners. As we reflect on our year, it has been filled with the good fortune to have relationships with incredible people and businesses.  We wish all of you a very happy holiday season filled with love, joy, and prosperity.

What Goes Into Your Business Holiday Greetings?

If you're thinking about the best way to show your gratitude and spread the holiday cheer, then consider what works best for your customers or clients. If you serve other businesses, it can be as simple as a hand-written note. You do not need to send something that is extra unique or clever for a holiday greeting to be effective. Your goal is to build upon great relationships with existing clients, and you can potentially use it to connect with some of those warm leads too (different blog post). When it comes time to send holiday cards, the most important part is the message.

Rather than give you canned messages to steal from, here are questions to ask yourself:

  • Who is this person in relation to you or your business? And what is his/her personality? If it's a goofy or humorous client, take that into consideration. Perhaps you want to send an e-card with a fun GIF.

  • What has happened this year? Were there any big benchmarks, events, or challenges faced? Maybe you want to mention something and remind that person about it.

  • When will you see or interact with this person next? Is your working relationship just starting or has it come to a conclusion? You may want to touch upon this if there is something on the horizon or a date you're looking forward to.

  • How has this relationship impacted you or your business? Has this person given you a great referral or testimonial this year? Say thank you.
